Hello and welcome to Plaid Friday! I hope your Thanksgiving was warm and wonderful.

You probably know about "Black Friday" in which people visit big-box stores to kick-off their holiday shopping, and cash in on super sales. Well, you may also know that the Bay Area likes to do things a little differently. This year, two local galleries decided to organize "Plaid Friday," to encourage people to support the little guys (and girls) of the business world.

I'm excited to participate along with many Bay Area independent businesses and Artists, and am offering Free Shipping in my shop, now through Sunday, November 29. Just enter "Plaid Friday" in your Buyer's Message, and I'll refund your shipping costs via Paypal. If there is a photograph that you'd love to have, but do not see in my shop, just let me know.

Do you celebrate the "thanks" in Thanksgiving? I'll be honest, I usually forget. I think I'm pretty good about counting my blessings on most regular days, but on Thanksgiving my thoughts gravitate towards food, pie, and other earthly pleasures.

So, just in case I forget to mention it while we're sitting around the table...
This year I'm thankful for YOU, and you, and you, because you've helped to make this topsy-turvy year quite wonderful.

I hope your Thanksgiving is nourishing, restorative, and deliciously sweet.

Hi everyone, this week is f-l-y-ing by, don't you think? I'm in Southern California, getting ready for Unique LA, enjoying time with family, and snapping hundreds of photographs of my nephews. Ooh how I love those little guys...

I'm thrilled to report that Unique LA asked me to contribute photographs for their window display! I drove by this weekend and had to snap a few photos. If you find yourself near the California Market Center in Los Angeles, my photographs would love for you to give them a wave hello.

Our journey spanned the day into night.
