Silver Park

Josh and I were driving through Canada a few years ago when we spotted this sign on the side of the road.  I adore the Silver Park script!  I shot additional photographs which show the sign in the midst of an empty lot, which leads me to believe that the restaurant somehow made its way into the ether.  I'm sure happy they managed to save the sign (although the opposite side of the sign was a little worse for wear.)

Me, Myself & Lyme

As part of Lyme Disease Awareness Month, my lovely niece Allison Zahigian (above) created "Me, Myself & Lyme," in hopes of spreading awareness about the disease.  Allison has dedicated the project to her Mom, Leslie Jouroyan, who has lived with Lyme Disease for six years.

Although I heard of Lyme Disease years ago, it wasn't until it hit our family that I learned how widespread and debilitating the disease can be.  Allison's Mom has fought a brave and difficult fight these past six years, and I am very proud of Allison for her efforts to share what they've learned, and help spread the word!

Where I've Been...

Josh and I just returned from a 3.5 week getaway in Europe.  We visited Bavaria and Austria, topped off with a wonderful stay in Paris.  Though I missed you much, I managed to enjoy myself immensely!

 Finding ourselves atop the Zugspitze summit (the highest peak in Germany!) was among the highlights of our trip.  The view was heavenly, in the truest sense.  I'm looking forward to settling back in to life, and sharing photos of our adventure with you.  More soon...
