Candy Color City
One day when I move far, far away from this City, I want to remember it just like this.
I shot this photograph two weeks ago, and created its color palette just this morning.
I think maybe I've fallen into the pages of my mother's childhood, and touched home.

My Love and Fury
Hello everyone, how was your weekend?
Thanks so much for the birthday wishes.
My weekend was a pleasurable mix of laughter and leisure, and I'm quite the happy girl.
Sunday, Josh and I celebrated my birthday with a trip to the Alameda Flea Market. I fell in love with this piece of art, which once graced the walls of a car dealership in Minnesota.
I think it's perfection...

What are the Chances?
Today is my birthday, and look what I found parked on the streets of Oakland!
A Happy Birthday Camper!
Seriously, what are the chances of that???
Life can be so very interesting.

Thanks to everyone who came out to last night's reception at Hotel Biron. Tonight I'll be at Artist X-Change Retail Gallery in San Francisco, from 7-10 p.m. My photographs will be available through the end of October, so please drop by if you're in the neighborhood.
And... The Gallery will donate 10% of proceeds from tonight's sales to the United Nations World Food Programme, in connection with the disaster relief effort of providing assistance to the victims of the recent flood in the Philippines.
I'm off to enjoy the rest of my birthday, I hope you're having a great day too.
