Last weekend we drove to Bodega, the tiny Northern California town where Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds was filmed.
We visited the historic schoolhouse seen in the movie, and had a quiet walk down the path where the children in the movie ran screaming. Such fun.
We drove further along the winding road, to the beach.
And then suddenly, we were surrounded....

Honestly, I've never seen so many birds. We celebrated our survival by returning home and watching the film. Wouldn't you?!
